Here's our auction line-up for 2008. Please use the absentee bid form link at right if you'd like to purchase and can't make it to the Ball. Our auction packages will be auctioned off at our 2008 Cowgirl Ball by legendary auctioneer Steven "Slapjack" Talbot of Talbot Auctions & Fundraising.



  • #1. Seattle Seahawks vs. New York Jets

    The holidays are a blast with four tickets to the Seattle Seahawks v. Brett Favre and the New York Jets! Included is a behind-the-scenes tour and guided pre-game visit onto the field during warm ups (just prior to kick off) and two NFL game balls autographed by a Seahawks player or coach. Don’t drive home after the game, this package includes a one night stay at the luxurious Westin Seattle.

  • #6. Black Butte Weekend

    Three days and four nights in a gorgeous Black Butte home, just across the street from the new Glaze Meadow Pool facility. This 3,000 square foot home sits on a very private 2.5-acre lot and features four bedrooms (sleeps eight), four baths and a bonus room with games for one and all! The Glaze Medow Recreation Center is the new indoor and outdoor aquatics, fitness and spa headquarters located near the center of the Ranch. In addition to pools and water play areas, you’ll find a hot tub, steam room, workout equipment, yoga and aerobics studio, Sports Shop, Bike Rental Shop and the Black Butte Ranch Spa.   • #7. Pendleton Round-Up

    The Pendleton Round-Up is recognized as one of the oldest and most prestigious rodeos in the world and it’s right here in our Oregon backyard. A smorgasbord of 2009 rodeo activities starts the second week in September. This package for two (2) people includes six days/five nights, Tuesday through Saturday, lodging at the Pendleton Red Lion, admission to the Tuesday evening Professional Bull Riding, Wednesday through Saturday daily admission, Underground Tour tickets, Round-Up Hall of Fame tickets, and Happy Canyon Night Show tickets, and lunch with author Ann Terry Hill, contributor to the Pendleton Round-Up Centennial Book.

  • #8. Blue Caribbean Adventure

    Your package includes accommodations for 6 days/5 nights in a two-bedroom oceanfront condo (sleeps up to six) in Puerto Aventuras, Mexico, 65 km southeast of Cancun. White sandy beaches, coral reefs, vibrant multi-colored blue water and coconut palms await you and your guests. Our luxurious setting hosts a fully self-contained resort community featuring fishing, diving, sailing, interactive dolphin experiences, snorkeling, restaurants, shops, Spa, Mayan ruins, golf, tennis and much, much more!

    The package also includes the buyer’s choice of one of the following three excursions. These excursions cannot be divided and/or blended to allow the members of the buyer’s party to take different outings:

    • One (1) day of bill fishing for six (6) persons, for big game fish such as blue & white marlin, sailfish, dorado, wahoo, tuna, barracuda; OR
    • An interactive dolphin experience for four (4) persons. Additional spots for this outing can be purchased; OR
    • One (1) day private van tour of Mayan ruins at Chitzen-Itza, Coba’ or Tulum.

  • #9. Horse Camping trip

    S’mores, trail rides and starlight! Three days and two nights at a beautiful Oregon horse camp for four people. We provide the horse (or you can bring your own), campsite and horse care. Package includes breakfast, lunch and dinner and guided trail rides. You bring your own tent or camper, bedding and your camping gear. If you bring your own horse, you’ll need to bring your own feed. The final destination is dependent upon the availability of the chosen campground within the Willamette Valley — from Hood to Coast!

  • Package is for adults or children 10 and older.

  • #10. Rose Bowl

    The Grand Daddy of ’em all — the greatest bowl game in the history of college football — the Rose Bowl. This package includes four Rose Bowl tickets to the New Years Day 2009 game in Pasadena, California, and four VIP seats to the best parade in the world, the Rose Parade. You’ll sit in the Tournament of Roses VIP parade section with all the other fancy pants, and you won’t have to crane your neck to see all the fabulous floats.

  • #11. Beach Cottage for You and Your Horses

    The Oregon coast like it was meant to be. Rest and rejuvenate at this charming one bedroom beach cottage in the woods 20 miles south of Newport and smack dab between the cute coastal towns of Waldport and Yachats. Bring your horses with you as this package includes one week stall rental for two horses at the Seal Rock Stables. Enjoy long beach walks, tide pooling, crabbing, clamming, whale watching or antiquing. At night cuddle up in this gorgeous handmade quilt and enjoy the quiet. Beach chairs and crab pot included!

  • #12. Saddle Club Slumber Party
    This special overnight slumber party for eight young ‘uns at Forward Stride will include a private two hour equestrian vaulting class, dinner, treats, a movie and late night visit down the aisles of the barn to “tuck the horses into bed”. The party is hosted by Forward Stride business coordinator and all around extraordinary gal, Eryn Ross (she’s a Girl Scout leader, folks!). Date to be mutually agreed upon. Party goers must be at least eight years old. Drop off at 5 p.m. and pick up at 9 a.m.
